Spain is a country which occupies most of the Iberian peninsula of Europe. Spain also governs several sets of islands, such as the Balearic Islands located in the Mediterranean and the Canary Islands in the Atlantic Ocean. The Spanish culture, language, and people, occupy the majority of the land owned by Spain. Spain’s current population is approximately 47 million people. About 80% of the population is of Spanish heritage (Spain Population 2013). Spain is a Constitutional government, run by King Juan Carlos and it is a member of the European Union. The bulk of the population is between the ages 25-54 and the population is the lowest between ages 15-24 (United States Bureau of the Census). When compared to the populations of the countries of the world, it rests at number 29 (United States Bureau of the Census). Although the majority of the Spaniards are similar to one another when comparing ethnicity and culture, there is some diversity present. The main ethnic group consists of the Spaniards that are native to the land. Along with the group previously mentioned, other immigrant groups from North Africa, Asia, and European countries also occupy the country. Since the Natives make up approximately 80% of the population, the country is minimally diverse. Spain is an amazing country   and is well known for its history, locations, traditional bullfights, food, language the government, beautiful cities and beaches.

Spain is located in southwestern Europe on the Iberia peninsula occupying 80 % of the territory which is shared with Portugal.

Spain includes the area to the east of the Balearic islands (Mallorca, Minorca Ibiza) and the south east of the Canary islands, to the south west separated by the strait of Gibraltar is Morocco where you can find the cities of Ceuta and Melilla.
Lastly the north east borders France and Andorra.

The capital of Spain is Madrid. Spain is the 3rd largest country in Europe and the 5th in population of 46 million habitants; of which the 99% are Catholics because being Catholic became a global empire.

It left a legacy of over 500 million Spanish speakers today, making it the word`s second most spoken first language; Spain has 4 different dialects which are Basque, Catalan, Valencian and Galician.

  In Another hand Barcelona is one of the main cities of Spain. It’s the second largest city, where you can find the historic buildings and monuments, such as Sagrada Familia which is the international symbol of Barcelona.

Speaking of Barcelona, it has beautiful beaches which are only   ten minutes from the center of the city. Barceloneta Beach, Icaria beach are known for their   surfing and snorkeling.

Secondly, the old town of Cadiz is one of the most densely populated urban areas in Spain, and is packed with narrow streets.

The old town benefits from several striking plazas, which are enjoyed by citizens and tourist. In the old town you can find Plaza de san Juan, Plaza de la candelaria, plaza san Antonio and plaza de Mina.

Finally, Spain like many other countries has a great climate and beautiful unique landscapes never seen, for example,   the strait of Gibraltar. Also you can find the province of Granada where you can find the largest peak of the country...
